Wolves boss César Peixoto admitted he was angry and upset after watching his side fail to take all three points against Wrexham.
Adam Armstrong’s first-half strike was cancelled out by Lewis O’Brien as Wolves were forced to settle for a 1-1 draw, leaving Peixoto frustrated with the result despite being pleased with his players’ performance.
“I am angry and upset we didn’t win,” Peixoto said.
“We deserved to win. We were the better team. Everyone saw a team want to win from the first minute to the last minute.
“We controlled the game, we had more possession, we managed the pressure, we created a lot of chances, we had more shots, more possession, more corners; more everything.”
The Wolves head coach felt his side had done more than enough to secure victory, particularly after the break, when he believed the hosts offered very little going forward.
“But it is an important point. It is difficult when you put 11 players back off the ball.
“However, the players played a great game. The home team did nothing in the second half but we didn’t score.”
Despite the disappointment, Peixoto was keen to take the positives from another hard-fought Championship encounter, with Armstrong continuing his goalscoring form.
The striker produced a composed finish to give Wolves the lead, and Peixoto was delighted to see him back among the goals.
“It is important for the striker to continue to score. Strikers live to score goals and Adam is that guy.
“But the stronger power is the team; it is all the players.”
While Peixoto was clearly frustrated not to leave North Wales with maximum points, his message was one of encouragement for a Wolves side that continues to pick up results in the promotion race.

The problem with getting relegated to the championship is that it's like every second of the season is squeaky bum time as Fergie called it. We've always been viewed as a scalp at this level since I started watching in 1990. Its like every team improves overnight to play us. Just gotta keep keeping on, another day another game.
Sorry Cesar but this one’s on you. You find a winning formula then change it.
The starting II from Wednesday is probably our strongest available - and the most settled but you insist on tinkering.
I get the need for rest but we’re making 5 changes after 60 minutes which will keep fatigue to a minimum.
Keep doing the same things and the same thing will keep happening.
