Wolves head into Saturday’s clash with Wrexham sitting second in the Championship following Wednesday’s dramatic 2-1 victory at Bristol City.
But while results have continued to improve, Peixoto insists there is considerably more to come from his side, particularly in possession.
“Now we are winning but not everything is well also. We have to improve all the time,” he said.
“I think the team have a lot to improve with the ball. But it’s better like that, to work with victory, with confidence.
“The environment is better because the players work very hard to win. We work for these kind of victories, to stay high up the table.”
The relentless Championship schedule is hardly helping matters, with Wolves facing their third game in a week and little opportunity to work on the training ground.
Instead, Peixoto is relying heavily on meetings and verbal instructions to get his tactical messages across.
“We don’t have time to improve our idea of the game,” he admitted.
“It’s only recovery, meetings, then go to the pitch but not exercise with intensity.
“The main goal is to find three or four things in a defensive way and three or four things in an offensive way.”
Peixoto believes the lack of repetition can affect the finer details of Wolves’ performances, particularly their pressing triggers and movement in possession.
However, the Portuguese boss is convinced that winning provides a psychological boost capable of overcoming physical fatigue.
“You don’t feel so tired when we are winning. This is more important sometimes than the body,” he added.

With Yerson Mosquera having been ill during the week, Peixoto will assess his squad’s fitness before selecting his side.
Boubacar and Bertrand Traore are back on the grass, but the game may come too soon for the duo to feature.
Jordan James misses out again with a hamstring issue, with Peixoto hoping to have the Wales midfielder back after the international break.

Apologies if I missed it in another post… Do we know who’s going away on international duty? I hope more of the squad is able to stay at home and train than last time.
