Wolves last visited St. Andrews in December 2017 and although it is not as big as Wolves versus West Brom coming up later this month, it is certainly a game that will have an added edge.
Peixoto appreciates the importance of this match to fans and is ready for his players to perform.
He said: “For us, it’s important, all the games, but this kind of derby is more important for the fans and we want to make the fans happy with us and we need them.
“I think they have to go and support us. It’s important to do what they do in the last games. They watch the team, they look at the effort of the players, they look at the way the team plays.
“In this game, it’s the same. For us, a game to win, to try to fight for the three points.
“For us, away or at home is different, but we want to win all the games and try to make our fans happy.
“But us also, because we work hard to try to win the game.”
Jean-Ricner Bellegarde has been missing with a hamstring injury and although he is nearing a return, he is not yet available for selection.
“He started training yesterday with us,” Peixoto added.
“He’s better, but it will take time to get fit to start to play.
“He came from the World Cup later, trained two training sessions and got injured. He has to take more time to train.”
