Michal Zyro only played 10 times for Wolves’ first team, but is still remembered fondly by supporters for his blistering start to life in old gold.
The Polish international arrived in January 2016 from Legia Warsaw and scored three times in his first two Championship games.
But disaster struck in April that year when MK Dons’ Antony Kay’s horror tackle meant Zyro suffered a catastrophic knee injury that he never truly recovered from.
After a loan spell at Charlton, the attacker eventually left Wolves in 2019 and spent the rest of his career in Poland.
Now, the former Wolves man has spoken to Inside Wolves 10 years on from that injury.
