Jean-Ricner Bellegarde admits he needs time to get up to speed in the Championship but hopes to make an impact for Wolves this season.
The midfielder suffered a hamstring injury following the World Cup, which kept him sidelined for the whole of pre-season, before he eventually made his return in the Carabao Cup against Everton.
Bellegarde also stepped off the bench against West Brom in the Black Country derby and on international duty with Haiti he has played in both of their games so far, starting and scoring against Costa Rica on Monday.
Cesar Peixoto admits he spoke to Haiti boss David Badia to urge caution with Bellegarde, and the player himself admits patience will be needed as he adapts to life in the Championship.
“He’s (Peixoto) helped me come back in time and now I need to keep going for the team,” Bellegarde told Inside Wolves.
