Raul is off the pace, due partly to having no preseason. He needed game time to get match fit. The injury could have happened in training or ten minutes into Sunday's game.

It's just unlucky.

Totally agree. Its not as if Raul has been prolific so far this season; has definitely looked off the pace. We will find goals elsewhere, perhaps with Neave who looks sharp. Armstrong also needs to step up.

Very poor from the manager. He cannot be listening to anyone at the club. Not only have we unnecessarily lost a key player (and penalty taker) we have handed the initiative to the Albion. This tells me the club is tone deaf to the fans and the history - which is what makes this club what it is. I’m with Nathan-fuming about this!

Whatever you say about Rob Edwards, he wouldnt have made a mistake like this. He understood the club and how important Sunday is.

May work in our favour. Neave looks lovely and can play off the shoulder, could use this game as his way to become a hero whilst out on loan

Not having this meltdown. CP made a calculated risk to get Raul some minutes for form and fitness. He was just unlucky. We need Raul fully firing at his best for the season ahead.

Pure stupidity from the manager. It is also worrying that with him and Jordan James both selected, it probably meant neither were starting against West Brom anyway. He has put huge pressure on himself now, a loss on Sunday and all fans will (rightly) blame him. He obviously doesnt get it.

An absolute ridiculous decision to play him. He is learning on the job and cannot be this dumb to play Raul in a nonsense match. Nobody cares!

“The biggest goal is the Championship”. Yet we are playing Jimenez in the cup?! Fair play by the lads today tho

Calm down Jason! Is Saturday really "the most important game for .... 10 years"? Nice to know you care, but I think your rant was OTT. Maybe Sean Neave will do an Iwan Roberts!

Excuse typo Nathan!

Absolutely disgraceful decision to start Raul tonight. He is our talisman, our best and most important player, with Trippier. They had to be careful with him tonight, he shouldn't have been starting. Think this will really shoot us in the foot on Sunday. The effect Raul has for morale and not just his ability. We will be missing the Si Señor song as well, which will drastically affect the atmosphere, considering no other player has a significant chant at the moment. This decision cannot be underplayed and I am really annoyed at Cesar for this. It just shouldn't have even been a possibility to happen 😡

Gents, do you have any idea why Cesar was not in any wolves gear tonight? He didn’t even have a wolves pin badge or t shirt or anything I could see….
