Since the very first day of pre-season, Wolves’ style and system have been clear.
Cesar Peixoto has stuck with the hybrid formation that sees Wolves become a 4-3-3 in possession and a 4-2-3-1 out of possession, with clear patterns of play built from the summer.
It has worked in plenty of fixtures, and failed to come off in others, but Wolves have stayed fairly consistent. The way in which Wolves have pressed teams has changed depending on the task at hand, but the style of play is largely unchanged.
