Still hasn't learnt after all those years reporting on wolves that we won't be bringing anyone in unless it's an 18 year old wonder kid from football manager. 🥲
I thought he would be a good option off the bench. Imagine if we are chasing a game - getting the crosses into Raul and Sasa. He also has a better touch than most give him credit for (played as a 10 for LASK sometimes). But we have to support the manager’s decision. I hope they do have a replacement lined up.
Gents, great work! Would love to see a piece after window closes on wolves sales and purchases since we sold Neves etc to avoid PSR issues. We invested some money late in window last summer (Tolu etc) but squandered…. Would really like to see a breakdown of how much Fosun are investing (or not!).. Tim Spiers mentioned £130M in sales since January but would be good to see how this knits together with previous seasons…
Superb! Great content as always Gents… my expectation is club needs c£30M a year to cover wages/ overhead as wolves will not cover costs with match day, TV, merchandise sales alone.. so player sale profit required to be self sustaining
Important to get replacement right, will be interesting to see what profile they go for aa Raul and Armstrong have different styles. Good context in the article as to why a free transfer worked for all parties.
Glad he's going back to Lask and not starting fresh somewhere else, they think highly of him there. Its such a shame he couldn't have made it here. Absolutely lovely bloke and his wife too.
That’s a good move for Sasa. Best of luck to him.
Agreed Jon, he’s a good guy
Seems like it. Bad luck with injuries, but had a couple of late minute headers for us.
You would hope we bring in a striker now, otherwise there could be arguments to have kept him around.
Pretty confident they’ll get a deal done now

GOOD LUCK SASA!
Disapointed with this i really hoped he would be given a chance i assume this means a new striker incoming?
Has to be

Like that John! A similar one in the pipeline

Good luck to Sasa; a truly decent man who, after his injuries needs a break! Hope this all works out for him!

I'm glad he's going somewhere he can play regularly.
Hope this frees up wages and a place to bring in a striker before deadline
I am sure we signed him from Stuttgart
Yes, think we did but he was on loan to Lask from us.
Best of luck to him, even on the Ruddy and Virginia behind the scenes video this week, he shock hands with Ruddy and was pleasant.
Hopefully another forward comes in now 🙏.
