The skipper played an integral role in Wolves’ strong performance and 1-0 win, while Fer Lopez notched the decisive goal on Sunday.
There was a party atmosphere inside Molineux and Toti says the victory is for the supporters.
He said: “It’s one of the best feelings, definitely. We knew the importance of this game and we knew we had to come prepared because they were going to come with everything, and we did what we had to do.
“We’ve been training for this for days, we’ve been doing all this during the whole week, and we prepared very well.
“We knew we had to be very strong. Winning the duels was one of the first things that we knew we had to do, follow the game plan and, at the end, be patient, because we knew the goal was going to come.
“It’s really good to win this game, especially for the fans as well as because now it’s the international break.
“It’s really important to finish this period well because we’re going to be a couple of weeks without a game, and the fans deserve a lot.
“This win is for them.”
Toti was part of the team that beat Albion in the FA Cup at the Hawthorns in 2024 and he has now made it two wins from two in his Black Country derby experiences.
The skipper added: “It’s great to win against them again. The last one was at their home, and there’s nothing better now than playing the derby in our home.
“Like I said before, it’s even better to leave here with the win.”
Toti put in his best performance of the season so far and put his body on the line for the result, as he ended the match with a black eye.
He said: “I’m good now. It was a painful one in the moment, but all good now.
“I’m just happy to go be able to celebrate with the fans and with the lads at the end.”
