Wolves dominated against Watford in a one-sided first half at Molineux, but only converted one of their 24 shots in 90 minutes, with just three of those on target.
The head coach knows his team has to be more clinical, but he says he would be more worried if the chances were not there in the first place.
“We have to score, we created the chances,” he said.
“But like I said before, when we create, I’m happier than the last game in the first half, we don’t create the chances we want to create, and today we created a lot of chances to score more goals and win more comfortably.
“But we are comfortable in the game, and I think it’s a good win for us.”
The win over Watford moved Wolves to fourth in the Championship and just four points off the top, and Peixoto was pleased with his side’s reaction following the draw against Portsmouth.
“I think it was a good win for us, an important win,” he said.
“In the first half we scored one goal, we can score two or three more.
“We dominated the game, we created a lot of chances, we attacked the space, we had mobility, we have a lot of players inside of the box, it’s a clear chance to score more.
“In the second half, not as good as the first half, but we controlled the game, it’s normal. The better chances also in the second half are ours.
“It’s normal, we played in the middle of the week, they have a long week to work, and are fresher than us.
“Sometimes I feel the team is a little tired, but we managed the game, we created the better chances, and we were the better team.
“If you win, if you score two or three goals in the first half, the feeling is different, but for me it’s a good reaction after the last draw at home.
“It’s important to take confidence, three points are important for us. It’s a good game for us, we can do better, but I think it’s a good, good win for us.”
