A total of 10 Wolves players have been selected to represent their countries during the international break.
This season, the September and October breaks have been merged into one three-week break, meaning Wolves do not play again until October 10 when they travel to play Middlesbrough.
But which Wolves players have been called up?
Jordan James
The midfielder is back in the Wales squad after injury ruled him out of the last call-up.
Wales will face trips to play Portugal and Denmark, before then welcoming Norway and Denmark to the Cardiff City Stadium.
Interestingly, Portugal’s side is without a Wolves player for the first time since 2018.
Ladislav Krejci
Krejci is in Nations League action with the Czech Republic, where he will captain his country against Croatia and Spain as well as a double-header with England.
The second game against England is at Wembley on October 6.
Krejci missed Wolves’ Black Country derby win over Albion due to a calf problem and head coach Cesar Peixoto implied after the game that the player ruled himself out of the game.
Jean-Ricner Bellegarde
Bellegarde has recently returned to action for Wolves following a hamstring injury and will feature for Haiti against Trinidad and Tobago, Dominican Rebublic and twice against Costa Rica in CONCACAF Nations League games.
It is understood Peixoto spoke with Haiti boss David Badia to request they are cautious with Bellegarde to avoid any further injury.
Nasser Djiga
Centre-back Djiga has been called up by Burkina Fasa for their AFCON qualifiers against Benin and Central African Republic.
They will also play a friendly in Argentina, while fellow Wolves man Bertrand Traore has missed out on selection.
Marshall Munetsi & Tawanda Chirewa
Wolves team-mates Munetsi and Chirewa have both been selected by Zimbabwe for their AFCON matches against Sierra Leone and DR Congo.
Ghislain Konan
New signing Konan will feature for Ivory Coast when they play Ghana and Somalia in their AFCON qualifiers, including a friendly against Jackson Tchatchoua’s Cameroon.
Jackson Tchatchoua
Tchatchoua captained Cameroon last time out and has been called up again for a friendly against Ivory Coast and qualifying matches against Comoros and Congo.
Rafiki Said has not been called up by Comoros due to injury.
Fer Lopez
Wolves top goalscorer Lopez has been called up by Spain under-21s as they take on Finland, San Marino and Romania in Euro U21 qualifiers.
Mateus Mane
The attacker has previously featured for Portugal under-21s, choosing them over England, and this time he has been selected for Portugal under-20s.
They face Poland, Switzerland and Czechia in the UEFA Elite League.
Let’s hope they all come through their respective international duties unscathed.
