Ghislain Konan is facing around two months on the sidelines with a knee injury, Inside Wolves understands.
The left-back suffered an MCL knee injury in training late last week and missed the win over Watford at the weekend, as he underwent a scan.
The results of the scan have revealed the damage to his knee and the 30-year-old will be sidelined for around eight weeks, although he will not require surgery.
Konan, who signed as a free agent this summer, has made three appearances for Wolves this season, with his first Championship start coming in the win over Burnley.
Wolves’ injury nightmare has worsened with Konan’s knee problem, as the left-back is the fourth Wolves player to suffer an MCL injury this season.
Both Rafiki Said and Kieran Trippier spent time out due to that problem, while Raul Jimenez has recently had surgery following an MCL blow and is out until the New Year.
Rodrigo Gomes is currently sidelined with an ankle issue but is making good progress, while Bertrand Traore has an ongoing hamstring injury and Boubacar Troare has a calf issue.
Inside Wolves understands that R.Gomes is closest to returning of those three players, but that all three hope to return to training this week.
Fer Lopez was an unused substitute at the weekend due to a calf complaint, while Nasser Djiga missed out due to a groin problem, but neither injury is believed to be serious.

UPDATE: This story has now been updated with the following line on Rodrigo Gomes, Bertrand Traore and Boubacar Traore:
Inside Wolves understands that R.Gomes is closest to returning of those three players, but that all three hope to return to training this week.
🤦🏻♀️ There are far too many injuries, it’s getting ridiculous now! I think the training methods and intensity needs to be looked into.
