Trippier has been sidelined with a knee injury since the opening Championship game, while Bellegarde has not featured this season due to a hamstring problem.
Both players are back in team training and could feature from the bench against Sheffield United.
“Kieran Trippier has started training but won’t start the game,” Peixoto said.
“We’re going to see if he has the capacity to go with us and get some minutes.
“Bertrand (Traore) also needs time to stay fit because he was working alone and it’s not the same.
“Bellegarde has had a second week with us and is better. He can be an option for us for the game, but just for a few minutes as we have to be careful with him so he doesn’t go backwards with his injury.”
Rafiki Said is set to train with his team-mates next week but won’t feature on Sunday, while Yerson Mosquera is also still sidelined.
“Yerson Mosquera stays injured, Rafiki too,” Peixoto added.
“Said is closer and in the next week he’ll start to do some things with us. Mosquera is later because he’s later in his recovery.”
