Just shows the insanity of playing him in a dead rubber, yes it could have gone at any time but he needed to be looked after and not played in needless games. This decision could result in CP being out before Xmas I feel
Comedy club the manager plays our only decent striker in a meaningless game. The club gives away are second best striker loans out our 3rd best striker loans a novice and then theres Armstrong! Where are our goals coming from ? By the time Raul is back the manager will be gone and we will be either fighting relegation of hoping for 8th
Who was the second best striker? There's no one we got rid of that would have been worth keeping. We just didn't invest in a proper back up like we should have.
Sasa never given a proper go, and Tolu is better than Armstrong even Hwang is better than what we have are you suggesting what we have is better than what we got rid of?
Sasa was injury prone (although I wouldn't have minded him staying) so can't rely on him. Tolu has an awful attitude, really disruptive to the team, and couldn't hit a barn door. Hwang wanted to leave and was always going to this year.
So yes, given we a) have players who want to be here, B) players who fit into the team and c) haven't had repetitive long term knee injuries and little game time in the last 4 years.
What I'm saying is we should have get a back up senior striker. Not that we shouldn't have moved on what we did
To be fair, if his ligament was already stressed, it could have gone at any time. He had a big world cup, after a full season in the prem, so no surprise injuries at his age are more likely. This was a risk when we signed him
Wow, so we have to get through to at least January without a recognised number 9! You couldn’t make it up, Cesar risked him against Everton and Fosun didn’t invest to have a back up to a 35 year old, you reap what you sow!!
Amazing how many times this happens at Wolves, where we’re told an injury is only minor and the player will be back in a couple of weeks, only to not see them again for half a season. Really makes you wonder how good the medical team actually are.
Great !! - so for the sake of 10 million we could have got Lankshear who, in your or judah interview with local reporter said Boro got him for 8 mil up front. How much will it cost not to go up? False economic decisions. By time he is game ready it will be March.
You reap what you sow - all this was planted by Fosun. Thanks.
A lot of talk about Citeh out there, here's my two pence: If you break the rules you take the punishment. Now that's done can we talk about the rules who allow owners to buy a club with money they don't have and put that debt straight onto the club - Man Utd, and they allow a global corporate tio buy a club with no serious long term ambition or investment plan so it's value and prestige eventually founders - WWFC. But it is wrong to buy a club with cash, invest in the team at unprecedented levels in cash, build a new stadium in cash and invest in the UK... in cash. Exactly what am I missing here? City broke the rules and they need proper punishment, then the rules need to change so that we can rid ourselves of the Glazers, Fosun and others.
Ok, I'm back off to mind my own now, hope the light cometh soon to Wolves. Best wishes for a speedy recovery Raul
Unbelievable! Wonder if Piexoto's regretting that decision yet🤦♀️
FOSUN will treat his return like a new signing in January

😭 this is not the news we wanted or needed! Peixoto is totally to blame for this.
To add, Jackson said he would go if window wasn’t good enough, not signing a second striker has come home to roost, off got trot you incompetent fool
At least we are well stacked in that department…..
Its all fine, we are stacked with good strikers….

You know that idiot sandwich gif
I need that cause that’s exactly what the manager was
When we signed neave I compared it to Fabio Silva.
Couldn’t really be any worse news.
